I made this LO for Creative art Therapy The topic was a child hood memories.
Well the fist thing that popped my head was the struggles of Being dyslexic in a time that it really wasn't recognised. I was always told that I was dumb and lazy I was also told I never tried hard enough. The education part of school sucked for me. I had a great second grade teacher that told me Jenny your smart in fact your very smart we just need to find away to make all your knowledge come out in a way that works for you. That was all I need to hear That I wasn't dumb I was unique in the way my mind works.

I absolutely love this! Thank you so much for sharing something so personal and I hope it made you feel a tiny bit better! Your art is amazing and I am so moved by it. Thank you!
This is amazing Jen !!!!! Thank you so much for sharing with us something that is so close and personal to your soul !!! That's what this is all about !! :)
I didn't know this about you. I'm sorry you struggled throughout school. Having these kinds of struggles can really make a childhood miserable. I had my hearing loss, and so I can relate in the sense that people thought I was dumb, simply because I was unable to answer a question because I had no idea what was being taught. I think you emerged to be a wonderful person and very outgoing and beautiful (inside and out) so I am glad that despite your hardships, you've come a long way. :)
Amazing, I never knew that you are dyslexic! My aunt is and she is a top Pediatrician - it's sooooo obvious that you're intelligent - and full of grace - maybe it comes from seeing things in a different light:)
Thanks for sharing this Jen!!! I'm so sorry that you struggled througout school. It's very hard. I understand how you feel somewhat. I don't have dyslexia, but I had learning difficulties. I still do. You are a great person who is not dumb! Look at how far you have come and all that you have accomplished. Thanks again =)
