Tissue holder tutorial

I love makeing these tissue holders they are fast and easy and make good any time gifts.

Supply list..
sewing machine
scissors
2 types of scrap fabric
interfacing
thread

First thing first cut your lining and 2 different fabric 5 1/4 inches by 7 3/4 inches. (You can make a template first out of cardboard if you want.)

Next iron on you interfacing to what will be your in side fabric.Next put right sides together and sew a 1/4 seam all around leaving a small opening to turn fabric.
Next the cut corners Then turn fabric.

Then top stitch all around the tissue holder makeing sure that you catch the opening that you left open for turning

Then fold the fold the bottom to the top slightly overlapping and lightly iron it then pen to if you need to.
Next sew across the short sides using a 1/4 seam allowance, back tacking at the beginning and the end but also in the middle for extra durability.Next you turn it right side out it will look like this. Then fill with your favorite tissue. I always take the tissue out of the bag it came in I think it's easier to pull the tissue out.

I hope you all give it a try. If you make one let me know I would love to see It..
