Here it is my first purse creation!!

This is my first purse creation I made up the pattern and think it turned out nicely It's kinda on the big side but thats OK I scaled the pattern down and the next on I will make will be smaller.

In this picture you can see how really large it is!! It will make a mom's bag you could put a small child in this bad boy. I am also sporting my new coat I got at Old Navy for it's the perfect go any wear coat it Wool so it's super warm.I used square rings to attached the strap I just love how it looks.

Here is the inside it's not a good pic but you can kinda see the pocket wich I love its a nice big u shaped double pocket. I used a magnet snap as the closure. I am still debating if I like it or not.

So what do you all think?

I hope to show you the smaller version tomorrow and the new pattern I came up with.

what a great job jen!!

How do you make your own pattern?? I don't understand that... so you took a drawing to the fabric shop and they made fabric to match?? is that right? explain more please! Inquiring minds (or mine anyway!) want to know! ;)

Very nice! I finally found a nice purse to carry and it's big enough to put a diaper in it! I am so sick of carrying a diaper bag :) That will be over soon I hope.

That is so cute! You're a sewing whiz! It might be a little on the larger side, but it would be great for like the gym or the library or something like that. I would totally use it.

Can't wait to see the next one!

I LOVE it. Why did you use the D rings instead of just attaching the handle to the bag? Just wondering.

great bag! It's my opinion you can never have to many. I read about your kidney stones. AUGH! I've had two. They are such a treat. Have a good day.

It's very cute, I love the pattern and the blue, it will be a great mom purse for the days you need one.

I hope the kidney stone will explain away all of the yuckiness and go away!

That's so cute! It looks like a bag you'd see in old navy or target!

I found these vintage shoes for you. You simply must have them... Do you wear a size 7.5?
