I don't like it.

Ok so the before and after pic that I showed with Robbie on his birthday. The real story is..
When we were dine singing happy birthday Ben who was clear across the table setting next to me leans over real quick and blows the candles out before Robbie could. We all then moaned BEEEN and he said What whats wrong . Like he did nothing wrong.

Now to my problem to day. Ok I know kids have to grow up I am just not liking that my girls are getting so old. Especially when my oldest and her BF are talking about the M word. I don't like it. It was ok when they were 14 years old and they said they would marry some day but now that it could be a reality It scares me. To think that I could be a mother In law so soon No thank you not ready for it.

I just wish some days I could stop time and make them be little for longer.

Awe Hun. You are too young to be a Mother in Law. Kadie is beautiful and yep I could see her getting married soon. I was only 19 and had only been out of High School almost 2 years.

I have to say I would love to be at that wedding or reception. To see the things (decorations) you could dream up would be fun.

Love you.

Oh wow. Well, you have to remember she's older than you when you got married!! Hang in there. YOu are in no way, a standard mother in law!

Oh, I'm so with you on this, and my boys are only 6 and almost 3.

I was chastising myself just this morning over getting misty when I dropped Oldest off for Kindergarten.

Sniff.

I think too many parents forget to cherish the moments when their kids are young. It goes so fast. I'm glad that you see and can appreciate the moments you have as your children are growing up.

Um... when you said the "m" word I was totally thinking something a little less legal.... I'm so glad I was wrong. ;) Please tell them to stop. It makes me feel old and we're not even related. ;}
PS Ben is so silly. Following in Shelly's footsteps it would seem. ;)

i always make my daughter promise me she'll always be my baby, even when she's an old lady. :)

It is so amazing how time flys by. My children keep telling me "I am not ever getting married", but I think I said them same words when I was their age.
Now I know how my mom felt.

One second I want my baby to stop growing up, the next I'm telling him to just grow up!

It could be worse and you could be stuck with ugly daughters that nobody wanted to marry! (That was my attempt at humor)

It's weird to think of them any older than when I last saw them, let alone talking about getting married!!!
