The dramatic story..

It started snowing early yesterday morning it was steady all day long then the sun came out late afternoon and started to melt some of the snow then the temps dropped at about 7pm so of course it made the roads icy. All day yesterday I felt uneasy I kept having this thought in the back of my head Jen you are going to be in a car accident So I was extra careful on the roads. I had been out several time yesterday on small errands past the same corner I had the wreck on. well it was my last outing of the day and I was on my way home from YW Had my car full of kids my three oldest girl and my good friends DD who lives around the corner. I was coming into my subdivision and as I was turning the corner I hit ice The car skidded out of control Kadie was hysterical screaming your going to hit the car stop sings Your going to hit I very calmly said every thing is fine I had every confidence that we would stop before I hit the Truck at the stop sings. I was wrong I hit full force in to the side of the truck on the drivers side door and hit more ice and slid all they way down her truck then I finally stopped. I made sure all the girls were OK and then went to the Truck I hit to make sure she was ok . Then I looked at all the damage to my truck. I could not believe how bad it was. I then tried to call Dale but my phone was dead so I had kadie run up the hill to get Dale. Les just say Dale was in shock with all the damage and not so pleased with me.
The girls are all ok they were just a little scared Except my neighbor girl she told her mom that she should not be smiling but that she was very excited to have been in an accident. The innocents of youth. I am very sore today my feet , shoulder and hip were very bruised other than that I am just fine . On the other had I am emotianlly a wreck. I am just greatfull that everyone is ok..

What a scary story! It is amazing that God gave you the feeling yesterday to be extra careful in the snow. Driving on ice is horrible! I am soooo glad that you all are ok - I'm telling ya, those Guardian Angels are great!

Oh Jen. I am so sorry that you had to go through that. I am VERY happy to hear that you are all ok. It still inspires me, how close you are to the Lord and how he prepared you for this trial.

Emotionally how are you doing?

I Love you Sister.

I'm so glad you are all okay. I had the same feeling you did when Ian and I had our wreck on the way to the Oakland Temple. All day I felt like we shouldn't go and so did Ian and so did our babysitter and so did my Mom, though she didn't even know our plans. I wish we had listened. The spirit is so strong sometimes and we just don't listen. My car was totalled, and we bumped up two other cars, but everyone was okay. I loved my car. I called her Betty, but, alas, she was just a car. :) I'm so glad you are okay Jen! :)

I have had that feeling before and kept ignoring it. It told me to go home instead of going to see Tom and I didn't listen and was in a car accident. Or the other time I didn't listen and my car was stolen at the Evil Walmart in Fairfield. We started listening, Tom doesn't even doubt it when I say that we shouldn't go somewhere because I don't feel right about it. Glad to hear that all are o.k. and no serious injuries happened.
