Miss June

Here in our little Town we all know Granny Oberg and we all want to be just like her. She makes the best rolls in the world!! She can grow anything she has the best sense of hummer and she is always willing to help others. Our first week that we moved here our family was invited to dinner at her house. I just kept thinking Wow she's some women. Her birthday is coming up so I wanted to make her something special so I came up with this sassy apron.
Well of course there has to be a story with this apron I made it with a High heel because she is always telling me that I am a Dang idiot for wearing high heels all the time. She always ends the insult with you know i love you and I do I know Miss June ( Granny ) Loves me and I love her very much.
BTW this is the first time I have ever Appliqued any thing. I was kinda forced to because I could not find High heel fabric any were. I say it's not bad for my first try I am definitely going to have to try this again. I am going to name this apron Miss June after Granny.

What a great story and wonderful apron! I love everything about it, the colors, the cherries, the high heels - this apron totally suits you - now that lady will be wearing high heels everyday too!

Jen, Gran will love the apron! I can see her stuffing her garden stash in that lovely cha-cha front pocket. You'll have to get a photo of her wearing it for all your blog readers to see.
