The criminals Mylissa, and Shelly.

The crime

These two rebels are wanted for kidnapping me and making me do crazy and unthinkable things,

 They made me sing at the top of my lungs and laugh so hard I almost peed my pants.

They made me take them Shopping and had me take them to Taco Bell where ate junk and took these incriminating pictures.

This Cruella was quite good at her job the only thing I liked about her was her shoes.

The crown box.

While in the fashion district in LA I found a beautiful rhinestone crown for Madeline.

I just had to buy it because every girl need a crown.

when I was wrapping her presents I decided that I just couldn't put the crown in any box so I glammed one up for her.

It was so super easy I just painted a paper mache box I bought at Walmart for $2.00

Hot glued some feather trim around the lid and put these stickers I bought 4 years ago for scrap booking on the top.

Wala your done easy peasey pumkin brezzy.

Out to dinner with the Wilderness family..

Last night we went out to Chinese for dinner in honor of Maddie's birthday and to say goodbye to Grandma and grandpa.

Our little Ben was in a silly mood.

One of our conversations went like this.

Ben: I love Chinese chicken.

Me: Wheat kind of Chinese chicken do you like Ben?

Ben: don't be silly mom the kind that comes from China.

Duh I guess i should not ask stupid questions.

Ben wasn't the only one that was being silly.

Mylissa and Shelly were being goofballs too.

So was my Father in law. I wanted to take a picture of the 2 of them and what dose he do ?

Grabs my mother inlaws boob. She grabbed his hand away before I could snap the picture.

We were all rolling at that point.

Madeline the birthday girl was in a mood too she looked at her Dad and said this is taking to long Grandpa is going to take us to church and you stay here pack up the food and pay the bill while we leave.

Dale looked at her and said oh is that how it is going to be.

She smiled and said yes cuz I am the birthday girl and that's my wish.

 Yep dinner out is always fun with my family.

The Queen of every thing is 9

I really cant believe my baby girl is 9.

It makes me sad that she is so old but happy that she is growing into such a lovely young lady.

Since she is my last little girl I went overboard with little girly gifts for her.

I know it wont be long before she hates Barbies and crowns and dress ups so I am taking advantage now.

I guess I better go and decorate the house for her and wrap all her giftys.

I also need to get some sewing done and get my Saint Patrick day decorations out.

I have some fun projects I want to get made while they are still dancing around in my head!

A scripture purse for Maddie!

I made this fun Scripture bag for Maddie's birthday tomorrow.

We bought her new scriptures so I thought she needed a fun bag to put them to take to church on Sundays.

That's why I call it a scripture bag or scripture purse.

Supply list!

1/2 of yard of 2 different fabrics.

purse handles 1/2 yard of interfacing

A sewing machine and thread.

First cut each fabric and the interfacing 12X14 for the body

then take a scrap peice and cut  10X 2 for the handle loops

Then iron the interfacing on to the lining.

next fold the 12X 2 inch fabric right sides together

sew a 1/4 inch seam and then turn the fabric so the right side is showing.

then cut in to 4 even pieces.

Next measure where you want the handles and then

place on fabric loop into each handle then pin in place.

Next put the lining and the top piece right sides together

Then sew a 1/4 seam all the way across.

(This may be a little confusing so really look at the picture)

Now you will need to put the right sides together and pin all the way around.

next start with the mane body piece and sew 1/4 seam all the way around leaving a 3 inch opening in the lining.

Now turn the purse right to the right side.

Iron and pin the opening then sew it shut using a 1/4 seam.

Then place the ling in the inside of the bag

Then you are done.

The girl has Talent!!

Yes I am going to brag brag brag about my super talented daughter!

Well I really don't even have to call it bragging it's a matter of fact.

Shelly is an awesome artist.

We have known she was good since she was three even then her childish drawings looked like art.

Any one that knows Shelly knows that if she gets her hands on a piece of paper it will quickly be turned into art.

Shelly has always focused on pencil sketching. She has rarely painted until this year. She is taking IB art class witch is equivalent to a collage art class this year in school.

Her art teacher has really challenged he and has made he on many occasion go beyond her comfort zone as an artist.

In January Shelly was asked to enter some of her art in a contest at the Art History museum in Anchorage.

It was on display with other high school  artist in Alaska.

She entered two pieces.

A painting.

And a Native drum she made.

Shelly thought she had a good chance of winning one of the 3 awards and was very excited about this.

To her surprise and the surprise and delight of her art teacher she one for both of her pieces.

3 weeks ago we went to the museum to watch Shelly accept her awards.

It was very exciting to walk around the museum and see Shelly's art hanging amongst other famous artist.

I was so proud of her and excited for her as an artist to be recognized for her talents.

Before we left the museum that night the museum director pulled me aside a told me something interesting.

She said I want you to know how we chose your daughters art.

There was a group of art majors and art teaches and local artist that sat down and looked at all the art that was accepted.

We did not know who created the art or what school it was from.

She went on to tell me that there complete agreeance on both of here pieces that the artists of these works were exstordanlrly talented and were quite shocked that these were works of a high school seniors.

Then when it was reveled that they were from the same artist they were just in awe that she created 2 different styles of art so splendidly.

She told me before she had become the museum director sh had been an high school art teacher, she said it is rare to see someone so young with such great skills in art as Shelly.

At that moment I was so in Awe of Shelly and so proud to be her mother.

A Romantical Restaurant

If you have ever went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland then you would have seen all the people dining in the restaurant at the beginning of the ride.

I always thought it would be romantical to eat there.

So when when we went this trip I made sure we got to go.

So we went there one day for lunch!

 We sat in the middle of he restaurant and had a yummy Monti cristo.

I was a little sad that we didn't get to eat on the terrace so we could see all the boats that were going by.

So when I saw my fairy Godmother I wished to eat there again.

So she granted me my wish and we ate there for dinner.

I was so happy that we got to because it was even more fun listing to the riders and waving to them.

So the next time you go to Disney try and eat at The Blue Bayou just remember to make reservations..

Really a hundred years?

We bought a kids meal in Disney because I wanted something light to eat and when we looked at the date of the juice we were shocked to see that it was a hundred year shelf life.

We thought seriously then we realized the date read Aug, 21 ,2010. LOL

We are back!!

I was happy to get back to the kids but sad to leave California.

We could not of asked for better weather the sun shined the whole time.

It was so nice to walk around in the warmth of the sun..

It was a magical time together, it was so nice to do what ever we wanted when ever we wanted to with out worrying about the kids.

Now it's time to get back to reality.

A reality I love!

It was so nice to be woken up by kisses, giggles, and hugs.

I have a ton of stories and a ton of pic to share later.

First I need to unpack..

What can I say I have the best husband in the world!!

He never stops amazing me.

Dale had this wonderful plaque made for me while in the Philippines last summer.

He gave it to me before we left on our trip..

I was super touched by his thoughtfulness.

The man truly loves me..

House of blues!!

Went to the House of Blues for dinner it was so yummy good.

We are having so much fun on this trip.

When I get back I will have to share all the fun things I am buying.. I got so killer high heels.. I wore them to the Price is Right and got tons of complements while walking around LA..

I cant wait to Share my experience lets just say my throat hurts big time from all the hooting and hollering I did.

Boo I have a sick Hubby..

I guess we went on to many roller costers this morning.

After space mountain Dale almost threw up so we headed back to the hotel so he could rest.

So here I am stuck in the hotel instead of riding rides or shopping.

Boo boo boo

ok my pity party is over.

Maybe if I give him a big fat kiss he will feel better..
