After a lot of thought and reading Scriptures I decided to use my blog to seek out prayers for our family.
It's been 18 days since Dale officially retired from the Air force and 18 days since we have had a pay check.
It's been scary for me knowing Dale has no job and no income coming in.
We have been blessed that we have savings and investments but they will only last so long.
I also really don't want to touch the investments if we don't have too.
Dale has been looking for a job for 3 months and nothing has come up yet he has been close twice but in the economy it's just hard.
We have been fasting and praying as a family for weeks and we feel that he will get a job soon we also feel that he has a better chance if we ask our friends and family to pray with us.
So here I am asking.
Please pray that Dale will get a job in the next 2 weeks.

Our prayers are with you. What is it he dose for a living? just so we can be specific in our Prayers.
I know and so do you this is only a test. That Heavenly Father knows what your family needs. He will help you.
So will all the supportive prayers.

I just said a prayer and will keep you in my prayers. I know how awful the fear can be...it eats at you. I pray God gives you peace while he chooses the right job for Dale.
I understand. I'm going through the same thing. I have no incoming money either and all sorts of bills keep piling up. Difficult times. Hope yours won't last too long.
Yes, of course it would be helpful to know what type of work he is looking for? Although, being in Utah... not so sure you want to make a move that far! You do know that since your hubby has just retired from the USAF he would have 1st priority to get a job at a base right? I say this because my hubby works as a civilian worker... we were both in the service years ago! Not to get any hopes up though, because I think right now there may be a freeze on government jobs. It doesn't hurt to look at the job search for the government.
