This hurts my Heart...

My poor Ben has had Eczema since he was 6 months old. This by far is not the worst case in fact until he started scratching last night his skin was clear. But he had an allergic reaction to something he ate and the hives and itching began. I gave him meds for the itching but it never helps. It's the saddest thing he goes into a tittle trance and all he does is scratch and as soon as he feels relief he comes to me with tears in his eyes and says I made my self bleed i am sorry momma can you put my socks back on. It just brakes my heart. I hope one day he will grow out of it. The poor guy has had more than his fair share of health problems. I just wish he did not have this challenge in his life I just hat seeing him hurt from the effects of Eczema.

OH poor guy! It looks painful!

My 9 year old had excema & hives all the time when she was little, then when we put her on Singular for her Asthma, it all stopped. She takes 5mg a day and it is WONDERFUL!

You might want to look into Singular!

My hands look like that actually, well not that bad now but it has been that bad since I've been scratching my hands raw in my sleep!

oh, little Ben. That is so hard. Kolby's skin gets really bad, just like that. It's been so much better since we give him Benadryl every day. We have to still completely lather him with lotion everyday, but it's so much better now with the benadryl.
Hope he stops itching soon.

Poor ben. That breaks my heart too. My neice has bad ezema, but not that bad. I feel so bad for him, and for you, to have to deal and go through that. I hope you can find something that will help clear it up, so he won't be so miserable. Hugs to both of you! =)

Jen, Have you tried Aquaphor? My Dr. gave me some samples and it has done wonders for Kalis. I like it because it doesn't sting her like other stuff does. Also The Dr. told me to try Vasaline. That stuff is so greasy that it might give himm some relief. Hope he feels better soon!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, Jen. I should known you'd like the Pringles cans - they have fur and bling on them!! ;)

Jen, my daughter had such bad eczema at one point - her legs looked like Ben's. I finally found some great stuff online that started clearing it within days. I slather this cream on, followed by Aquaphor, and it has been our miracle cure. Email me at gina249 @ gmail.com, and I will find the link and send it to you.
