Boo whoo the flu

Poor Madie and Robbie have the flu.. I feel very sad for both of them.. Madie said momma I really want to go to my class party I said I know baby. She then cried her self back to sleep. She so exhausted from trowing up all night long that she can barley hold her head up..

I just hope I don't get it.. I leave for Utah in the early Am tomorrow. I don't want to be trowing up on a plane..

I will post Halloween pix tonight before i go to bed.. I hope everyone has a happy safe Halloween..

I think these Moose are getting to friendly..

I ran to Walmart and when I got home my kids told me that The moose came in the Yard while they were playing .. Thank Goodness the Neighbor was out there and told the kids to get behind her Truck until they leave. I guess Ben was frozen with fear and just stood there . As they were telling me this I felt sick inside. Just earlier today I felt I should tell Ben What to do in case he was out side and a moose came by. Did I do it No. Thank goodness there was no harm done.. MY stomach is still turning inside with all the what ifs..

I just had the pee scared out of me!!

I am still shaking.. I was sitting in my Family room sewing I had just got up and turned around and got the shock of my life! 2 moose looking in at me thru my picture window. I am suprised I did not scream... Of course I did what any good blogger would do I ran up stairs to get my Camera.. By the time I got back down stairs They were not By the family room I went into the girls room and they were walking past there Window . For as big as they are they sure move fast. So I did not get a good shot so I ran up stairs knowing I would be able to see them from the deck.. Yep I sure could they were right there in my back yard. At this point the Momma moose caught on to the fact that I was stalking her . She was not very happy that I was disturbing her nice morning stroll She definitely had her panties in a wad the back of her hairs were raised on her neck So I did not even dare open the back door and try to get a shot from the deck. I was not willing to risk finding out if moose could climb stairs. She kinda stopped her hoof and walked gracefully away. After I picked my jaw off the floor from watching this display I quickly took this pic of her marching off to the neighbors yard and into the forest to eat some bark off of the trees. The whole thing was just crazy.. BTWI don't live in the country I live in a subdivision in I guess you would call it Town I don't think you could consider where I live the city. LOL

Random post

To begin my total random post Dales aunt sent an email with this pic titled the snow fairy. I fixed the pic a little bit cuz I try to make this a pg blog. Ok I have to admit I had a ton of funny things running in my head when I first saw this pic . First one being blue balls (sorry for my bluntness) second one being what kinda bet did he loose and third Why? LOL

I came across this pic from Halloween 2005 I still say what the heck was I thinking .. What can I say had just started my 8th month of pregnancy and I thought it would be funny to dress up like a trailer trash Diva.. My Pg belly served me well as a beer gut..Third but not least my BFF from the 7th grade sent me this tag .. She thought it fit me well. I think she is way too sweet .. So Beth was I Smart, sassy and always classy in the 7th grade?

I guess I should get off the computer and get stuff done for this trip I am going on..

Aurora Borealis

Last night I got a phone call from Kadie just after I had gotten all snuggled in to my bed she was coming back into town and said the northern lights were amazeing and that I should go look out the window. I thought no way would I be able to see them. I went to the window anyways and saw nothing. I then decided to look out our back window and sure enough you could see the northern lights dancing there magic. I stood there in utter Awe at the beauty I was seeing. I was amazed at the different shapes and colors that were swirling across the night sky. The Aurora Borealis kept getting lower and lower it was almost like it was right on top of my house. I decided to enter the cold night as I stepped out on to my back patio I felt the magic take over. I started dancing with the lights . I somehow felt warm engulfed in their beauty. I felt the cool wind on my skin and as I danced with the lights. I swear I could here singing a soft sweet melody. My eyes were filled with tears as I just swayed to the unknown melody. I felt so many amazeing emotions at that moment. I soon realised I was not alone I felt that William and Marie were with me. I could see there silhouettes in the darkness I believe it was Marie that I heard singing. Nothing was said we all just were just there dancing with the lights. It was very reverent and magical all at the same time. It was almost like for that moment all was right with the world. I kept taking deep breathes as if I could some how breath in the magic and keep it deep with in me. I started to shiver from the extreme cold and the lights started to shift towards my neighbors house and I new for now the magic was over. I reluctantly went back in my house got back into bed and just laid there wondering if I dreamed the whole thing.
I have heard many different legends concerning the northern lights. One being that the lights are spirits of Children playing ball . How sweet is that.. I can see how people would think that the lights are the spirits of those who have passed before them. For me it was definitely a spiritual experience.
My Question of the day.. Have you ever seen the Northern lights? My other question do you know of any of the legends associated with them?

Were are the days going?

I cant believe that in only 3 days we will be seeing ghouls and goblins haunting the streets in hopes of collecting tons of yummy treats. I love Halloween so much I always have I still dress up every year . Thats probably my favorite part of Halloween dressing up. My costume this year is great.! I share later this week what I am going to be.

Edited.. I took the pic of the guy in the pizza box off. I looked at my blog and decided it was just too scandalous for a PG blog LOL

I don't think many people can pull this costume off . I think it's kinda yuck and fascinating at the same time.....











I only have 4 more days until i fly off to go shopping for a week!! I can hardly wait to go buy more useless crap!! keep adding to my list the things that I need. I think it looks more like a scroll than a list. LOL

Hangin with the moose.

We looked out our kitchen window and saw the moose hanging out in our yard. These were taken from my back deck. Every time we went on the back deck they would look at us like whats the big deal. LOL After living here for 2 1/2 years i am still in Awe of the moose that hang out in our yard..

Hot drinks for hot mommas..

Last week I got the most amazeing package in the mail!! I was in the hot Drinks for hot mamas Swap that my friend Val hosted. My partner Gin went all out!! The packaging alone was just amazeing I rember after I opened the box I lifted out a hot box. I just kept staring at how pretty it was. I the opened up the box and was blown away at Gin's thoughtfulness. It was like she new me as well as my best friends do. Every thing she picked out screamed My name.I love this shoe journal holder. It so super cute! just happen to have a pair just like them I also love the journals that have cheetah print trim.. So Me!!! She also sent the cutest coaster set to sit my hot drinks upon..
And of course I can't forget the cute apron she made that she monogrammed a J on out of Jewels.. Sew cute.. So Me yet again!!Gin thanks again for a truly amazeing package.

Trisomy 18

Today I woke up checked my E-mails There was one from one one of my BFF's labeled Trisomy 18 I opened it up read what she had to say . She said she had met some one with a friend that is 18 weeks pg and they found out the baby has t-18 and would I be willing to talk to them. I thought OK . Then I got an email from a good friend of mine who host apron swaps.. The Email was titled Thank you. I opened it thinking it was a thank you for not forgetting to respond to the email I got telling me who my swap partner was. Instead it was an email thanking me for sharing Williams story and that her little niece was born with what they think is T-18 yesterday. She said there family had no clue that she was a special baby so as you can imagine there family is going threw a lot of emotions right now. She said when she saw her niece she looked like William.. My heart as you can imagine was just struggling for the heartache this family is going threw but was touched that My friend knew something about Trisomy 18 because of Williams web site..

If you can believe this i then got a email from the Trisomy 18 foundation asking people to spread the word about Trisomy 18 and the Trisomy 18 foundation. Do you think I am being told something or What!!! So Here I am writing on my Blog for the world to read..

Bringing color to the world!!

My Daughter Shelly amazes me.. She asked if she could scan something yesterday and I said sure . So when this came up on the screen my jaw just dropped.I asked her if this was her latest creation? She said in her no big deal teen aged way. Yeah .. I said this has to be one of my favorite drawings. She smiled and said yeah it's good one. Yeah like you ever have a bad drawing Shelly. Holly cow the girl has way to much talent in her finger tips. If only I had a 5th of it I would be a happy girl.. I have no doubt if she wants she will make it big in the Art world. The girl is amazeing.

My question of the day?can you draw? Or do you have some other Artistic talent? Please share I would love to hear all about them.
As for me I am creative with paper crafts and fabric and I can make some nice jewelry and I have a good eye for decorating and thats about it!

The count down is beginning!!

My hubby pointed out to me last night that I have less than 2 weeks before I leave on my big shopping spree. He asked if I was ready. I was like ready what do you mean. He sad do you have your list prepared? Uggg I still have to write out the list of all my kids sizes what they need and Dale sizes and what he needs Yikes and I need to make a list of what I have already and what I need so I wont go crazy. And buy just a ton of cute shoes and nothing else..

Now my heart keeps pound when I think about all the fun I am going to Have shopping and eating in restaurants we don't have here and just plain playing with Berni Jo for a week. I can hardly wait..

Do you believe in Ghost?

Ok I am not saying Whooo Whoo Or Boo you know spirits... I do i always have probably because I have always felt them hear them and sometimes see them... So it's never been strange for me.I acuttaly find it comforting to know that when people die there spirits are still around us.. Well whats my point you may ask? Well saturday while I was driving home from Anchorage I heard a voice say vear to the left now I said what I then heard Jenny veer to the shoulder now so I did with out thinking. I then looked over to the right and saw this women swerving into my lane. She had her head down and was messing with something in her car when she looked back up she realised she was in my lane and that she almost hit me. I could tell she had a scared look on her face she quickly got back in her lane and I got back in my lane. The scary part was that we were going down a hill at 70 miles an hour with a drop on the left side with no guard rails. Had I not heard my grandfather she would have surely hit me and I probably would have went over the side. I am so grateful I listened to the voice I heard. I believe that my Grandfather is my protector this is not the first time I have heard him warn me while I am driving. He once told me during a rainstorm to look there is a moose i the road. It was raining so hard that I would have never seen it until it was too late. I am so grateful for his warning both times.
I could probably write a book about the many experiences I have had with spirits. Sometimes after i have these experiences I am overwhelmed with how crazy it seams but I never once doubt that they are real.

So my question of the day is do you believe in spirits and have you ever had experiences with them?

Halloween goodness..

So I did not get my Halloween post posted yesterday life just got in the way. Shopping , bargains , My grandfather saved my life and a sick tummy, I will save the details for tomorrow's post. Now on to the Halloween goodness!!

First I want to share these delightful cards I made from some fun Halloween vintage clip art I found on THIS SITE I love vintage pictures and clip art. This is the first time I was brave enough to make cards with them.. They did not turn out to bad..Next I made these fun book marks I found at Activity Village.
They were super simple to make all you do is copy the book marks laminate them then cut them out punch a hole in the top the add trim and Halloween brads.. I made them to give to Madeline's extra class she goes to. I wanted to give them something fun that was not a sweet treat.

When I was at the grocery store a few days a go I saw these ghost peeps and thought my kids would like them in there hot coco.
When they came home from school on Friday I handed each of them a ghostly cup of COCO They all smiled even the teenagers.

Last but not least Me and Ben made these cute jackolanterns out of hostess snow balls they Were just so cute smiling back at us.

This coming week I will have some more Halloween goodness including the cutest apron i ever made and instructions on how to create your own.

I hope everyone is have a good Sunday. My question of the week kind of odd but thought I would ask any ways When do you all start decorating for Christmas?

My dorky moment!!

Okay I had my days mixed up I thought today was the Halloween party but I was wrong It is tomorrow. What a dork I am. The invite is right there on the right on my blog you think I would have been able to read the right day. Pregnancy and infant loss remembrance day

Today I am going to join Millions of people in lighting a candle in Remembrance Of infants who have left this earth too soon. I of course Will be rembering My Sweet William. We miss him Evey day. I would love it if anybody wants to join me in rembering . If you take a pic I would love to see it!

We love you and miss you every day William !! You have forever changed our lives. I can hardly wait until the glorious day I get to hold you in my arms again

My bug is home!!!

I am so glad to have my oldest back in the nest!! It's been 5 months and she has new hair and is cute as can be!!
Her sisters are very happy to have to have her home. I love seeing the 4 girls together again.
