My Daughter Shelly amazes me.. She asked if she could scan something yesterday and I said sure . So when this came up on the screen my jaw just dropped.I asked her if this was her latest creation? She said in her no big deal teen aged way. Yeah .. I said this has to be one of my favorite drawings. She smiled and said yeah it's good one. Yeah like you ever have a bad drawing Shelly. Holly cow the girl has way to much talent in her finger tips. If only I had a 5th of it I would be a happy girl.. I have no doubt if she wants she will make it big in the Art world. The girl is amazeing.My question of the day?can you draw? Or do you have some other Artistic talent? Please share I would love to hear all about them.
As for me I am creative with paper crafts and fabric and I can make some nice jewelry and I have a good eye for decorating and thats about it!

I can draw to get by. I am no means an artist, and I used to paint(other than walls)once upon a time. I suppose my only real artistic talent is my jewelry and that's iffy at times.
I am not talented. I love to cook though, does that count for something? I'm telling you, I want Shelly to be the illustrator for the childrens story I'm writing. She's amazing!

Wowzers--that is AWESOME! She has a tremendous amount of talent! I am not too talented. I can somewhat draw but nothing to write home about!
I'm here from JewelStreet...congrats on the award! I have no artistic ability :( None. Zip. Zero. But my daughter is an artist through and through. Musically, artistically...I'm very blessed.

I can't draw, Tom is the one in the family who is good at that. Xanen is getting there as well. I am crafty in other ways, cooking, etc. Tell Shell it is beautiful

Can I draw? Hmm...not as well as I used to. Sadly, I just don't do enough sketching anymore. I really think that makes a difference. Tell her to never stop putting that pencil to paper. :)
Curly Girl is talented as you know. Me, her mom. I sing...sang for a living for years until I had to decide to either GOT FOR IT or not. I didn't....not ambitious enough. I also play piano and make mosaics.....do some crafts and some yarn work.....aprons, etc.
I believe that if you have any artistic talent, you have more....just hidden away.
I'm semi creative. I like to do some scrapbooking and small crafts.
