I love Halloween movies they always make me happy and seem to always get me in to the Halloween spirit. I rember as a kid every October our family would always look forward to watching Charlie Browns the great pumpkin every year. I rember the anticipation and excitement in our home knowing we would get to watch this great movie. Oh the memories.
Well I have definitely passed down The Great pumpkin Charlie brown tradition to our kids they love it just as much as I did. One of our other favorite movies is The night before Christmas.
My kids love jack Skeleton and Sally .. I rember when this movie first came out our older kids were very little and I just thought this movie was awful I told Dale that I would never let our kids see it. About 4 years a go Dale had rented it on Netflix and let the older kids watch it and they of course fell in love with this crazy weird movie. So it is now a must see movie at Halloween.
My third pick would have to be the Halloween Town movies. Who could not love these movies.. They are so fun and exciting to watch. My kids look forward to The Halloween town adventures every year.

We're watching Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin tonight! Love the Nightmare before Christmas too. Hocus Pocus is a favorite, but a wee-bit scary for little ones. My absolute favorite Halloween movie is "The Witches" with Angelica Houston. Not very many people of heard of it. It's based on Raold Dahl's book of the same title. SO GOOD! I think I'll order it from Amazon right now!
PS - "The Witches" is a bit scary for little ones too.

I like the Charlie Brown and the great pumpkin, Hocus pocus.there is a grinch halloween movie. I like that one. And of course the nightmare before christmas. I love hearing about your halloween traditions! =)
We watch the Great Pumpkin too! We also love Hocus Pocus and we pull out an old animated movie of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow with Ichabod Crane.....a cute one. Lately we've thrown in Haunted Mansion too.....
you forgot Hocus Pocus, that is a fav here. Also Casper and Beetlejuice.
Hannah loves the Halloweentown series. I need to find them on DVD for her, she waits every year for October when they show them endlessly on Disney Channel.
