What a rush!!

I will start with me leaving my drive way..

As I was driving the anticipation was getting the best of me!! My heart was beating so fast and I felt like a kid on Christmas morning waiting to run down the stairs to see what Santa brought.

When I entered the parking lot and saw the cars I got even more excited. I parked at the end of the lot and started the hike up to the doors. I found a cart in the parking lot and stopped to put Baby M and Ben inside so I could get there even faster.

I cant even began to express the joy I felt as I walk in into the store. I just stopped at let it all sink in. I was really in Target!!!! No way!!. I stopped at the $ spot and was so excited. All the fun yummy stuff for just a Dollar. (We don't have 99cent stores or dollar trees) Believe me it was exciting getting cute socks for a dollar. I then walked all around the store twice. I swear I was on sensory over load. My brain couldn't even focus on what there was to see. I just kept wondering around letting it all sink in I think I will go back later today when concentrate better. Plus I think the girls will kill me if I don't take them after YW we will see.

Ok so what did I buy? Don'T laugh to hard. I bought 40$ worth of $ spot stuff. Yes I know I am crazy. In my defence it was mostly socks . Ok and scrap-booking stuff for the kids and me to share and a few stocking staffers. I am telling you it was all too much. I just could not concentrate. I did not even dare look at the clothes. Aha But it was so much fun!!

My question of the day? Do you think my girls will talk me into going back tonight?

Jen, you are too cute! :D Love the video. So glad you had fun at Target. I can relate to that sensory overload. And, yes, I believe the girls will have no trouble twisting your arm and getting you back in there tonight. Have fun!

I don't think they will NEED to talk you into going... I think you 'll do a good job at doing that all by yourself! (they will want to go with you this time so you better wait for them!)

oh Jen, you even coordinated with Target Colors! lol!

Okay I've only been to Target once, and that was when I was like 11 yrs old or something like that when we went to Minot, ND for a weekend. Maybe now it would thrill me more... esp. the dollar spot...

I can't believe the girls didn't make you go back. That dollar spot is my nemesis. I easily spend $5 on that stuff every time, if you times that by 7 (because I have one and you have 7 to shop for) and it's about what you spent LOL.

I am so happy for you to finally have a Target open!! I would love to actually be at a Target on it's opening day.
