Mothers day apron

Since my Mom is getting ready to get on a plane to come see me I think it is safe to show you the apron I made my mom for mothers day.

The bottom of the apron reads all things grow with love. I think she is going to like it.

I cant believe how fast this week is almost over. I fill like time is flying buy and it wont take a minute to let me breath.

So what are you all getting your mothers for mothers day?

The apron is beautiful, Jen! Love the sentiment at the bottom. I'm sure your mother will treasure this! :)

My sister & I treated our mother to a hair appt and new styling products when she visited a couple weeks ago. I still need to come up with a birthday gift for her though as it's the following week.

My mom loves kids books. I got her one that goes in a series that she has. She should have gotten it yesterday, but I haven't heard yet. I also got my grandma a book. I love the apron.

Love the apron!

My mom is an Avon rep, so I ordered a cool black pearl necklace and earring set from her for my Mother-in-law. I'm still debating what to do for my Mom. She can get all the pretty things she wants from Avon, so I will have to get a bit creative. The kids want to make mini flower gardens using some cool flower pots we found. :)

Jen! I just pulled out my apron pattern to take a look at it (I don't know how to follow patterns) anyway, It calls for a binding. How do ya do that?

Looks just like mom, I think she'll love it. I wish I knew how to make a pretty apron. Maybe that would be something for me to start trying to learn to sew. I've had a sewing machine for four years and Dan's the only one who uses it.
