Just in time for fall.

OK Fall is not for 22 day but it's close.

There is so much fall decor to be had in the store right now that I feel like I am being teased because I can't buy any of it yet.

Dale is still jobless Boo but Yahoo because he has something in the works {cross our fingers that it all works out} but Boo because it won't start until March.

He will have to find a temp job until then so we are praying that he gets one soon.

So on a limited budget and having the itch to decorate I was happy to see that the fall fabric I bought in January at 90% did not get left behind.

I broke my sewing machine out of it's hiding place and went to work.

My working fingers created this darling table runner.

I really do love how it turned out.

I love the crazy sideways stripes in the contrasting fabric.

And I love the pumpkin colored rick Rack that complements the fabric and ties the whole look together.

So what do you all think?

Now I am off to create some more fun goodies with the rest of this fabric.

Birds is the word!

Decorating with birds is my thing right now!

I keep finding the cutest chubby birds and have to have them.

I found this guy for 1.00 at hobby lobby and could not pass this bargain by.

I then found this cute couple at Michel's for a dollar each so they had to come home too.

I am not only finding birds at a bargain but other wonderful things I will show you you them Later.

I totally love living where you can get great deals on things.

PS. As my daughter pointed out my picture did not show up on my last post hopefully I fix the problem and I will share the pictures soon.

12 weeks to a slamming hot body.

I am sick of my flabby tummy for the last 2 years I have been trying to get back in tip top shape I get close then something happens and I fail to meet my goal.

This time it will be different.

How may you ask?

My Hero My Best Friend and lover will be doing it with me.

Yes support is the key.

We did this same goal 10 years ago and were very successful doing it together.

I have tried many times on my own and have failed every time.

Dale (my Hubby) did it wile deployed a few years a go with some other guys and succeeded.

In the next few weeks I know I will see dramatic changes in my body.

I will post pix every 3 weeks so you can see my progress.

I will also be treating my self with little presents every three weeks if I hit my goal.

My goals are simple eat the way I know I need to and exercise the way I know I need to.

I don't care how much i loose so I have no weight goal.

I am so excited I cant wait to fit into my super skinny jeans.

Buliding a bird house !

Ben loves to build things so dose his Dad.

Ben Aunt Debbie works at lows and gives Ben the extra kits they have

The other day Ben and Dale decided to build a bird house together.

Ben did most of it himself but his daddy helped when Ben needed it.

When Ben and his dad were done building the bird house Ryan and Ben decorated it.

They did a super good job!

We then Hung the bird house up!

Ben Loves his bird house and so do the birds!

He should be in Kindergarden!

I have been extra weepy this week I know most of the reasons why.

August for the last 6 years have been hard for me.

Compiled with everything else that's been going on I have been extra sensitive.

Today at church a sister was asking me about my kids and if I was happy they were going back to school tomorrow.

She then asked how old my youngest was I said he was 7 and would be in 2nd grade.

She then asked me how old William would be, when asked this question or any question about William I never have issues answering.

This time was different I said he would be 5 and burst into tears as I said and realized he would be starting Kindergarten tomorrow.

I did not expect this reaction the poor sister sitting next me started crying too.

She just hugged me.

Then it was time to sing the opening song for RS witch just happened to be Family's can be together for ever .

I couldn't sing so I just cried.

It still blows my mid that 5 and a half years have come and gone.

{Sigh }tomorrow will defiantly be a bitter sweet day.

I just had to take a picture of my boys today because they just looked so nice all dressed and ready for church.

Trying to stay postive.

Today I woke up feeling so depressed and defeated.

I am generally positive and can see the bright side of every situation.

All morning I just felt like I was trying to swim up stream in molasses.

I tried exercising and lasted 1 minuet. I just had no energy to do it.

I went and took a hot shower and just cried ok more than just cried I sobbed.

I felt a little better so I decided to make my bed and clean my bathroom.

I then said a simple prayer asking for comfort and peace.

I then took out my pactrartical blessing and read it.

Doing all these thing made me feel better and remedied me that Heavily Father is always with me he knows my thoughts my desires and my need and wants and most inportainely he loves me.

Being unemployed is just so hard.

I know we aren't as bad off as others in fact we are blessed to have money in the bank and food storage.

I just get scared that if Dale dose not get a job soon our money will run out and our food will all be eaten

On top of the stress of being unemployed our renters in Alaska aren't paying there rent on time in fact they are 11 days late so we had to pay our rent here in the springs and our mortgage on our home.

If our renters in Alaska don't start paying rent on time it looks like we will have to evict them .

If that happens we will have to pay rent on two houses until we get new renters and with no money coming in I don't see how we could do it.

Sometimes I swear when it rains it pours . I am just waiting for the good stuff to start pouring down.

OK enough wining I just need to get my stress out.

On a positive note all my laundry is done folded and put away thanks to the great amazing kids I have!

Lucky You!

I have had these jeans for about 10 months I just never really wear them shortly after I bought them I lost to much weight to wear them.

I kept them because they were cute figuered I could wear them on my fat days.

I haven't worn jeans since April but today is a little chilly and I am in need of fat jeans right now.

So when putting them in on today I noticed the little message in the fly for the first time.

I don't know why but it just cracked me up.

I guess I should share this little message with my hubby and see what he thinks(wink wink).

So what message dose your jeans give you?

Broken Benny!

On Monday night Ben was ridding his friends bike out front. 

All the sudden I heard kids shouting aren't you glad you wore your helmet.

Then I heard Ben crying.

I ran out to get him and saw bloody knees and ankle and a scuffed up chin.

Yet he was not crying about any of those aliments.

He was holding his hand funny and sobbing my hand hurts.

I knew it was broken but agreed to wait until morning to take him to the ER.

So early the next morning I looked at his hand and said Benny it's broken we need to take you in.

The ER DR. looked at and said I think it's just sprained.

I said no it's broken.

He snickered and said what do you have x ray vision.

Ben said no she has Mom eyes.

I said Moms just know these things.

He said we will see.

After an hour waiting for the x ray we were back in our waiting area .

The DR. came in and said High 5 buddy your first broken bone.

He looked at me and said I think you have X ray vision and your defently a mom who knows your child.

After a lot of drama with the insurance company we took Benny to get a cast put on.

There was ton of cast options (Can you guess what he chose?)

The cast TEC was amazing he kept making Ben laugh.

Ben was so good and was entranced  by the cast make as he called him.

I did not realize untill he were at the cast place that Ben had a long sleeved shirt on.

Benny loves his cast and had everyone  in the family and the neighborhood sigh it.

So did any one guess that he got a glow in the dark cast with gold glitter.

Benny will have this bad boy on for 3 weeks.

Hopefully his eczema dose not flare up in the cast.

The Dr said it can and probably will so we need to take extra care that it dose not get infected.

So the next tree weeks should be fun.

PS. he gets to start school in his cool glow in the dark glitter cast.

My BFF from 7th grade.

My BFF Beth from JR high came to visit last weekend.

On my first day of 7th grade she asked me if I would be her locker partner and we have been friends every since.

I love Beth and her family so much it's amazing that we have stayed in touch over the last 25 years.

I know she loves me to and I am confident she will still love me after I share this silly picture.

The angel was so odd that it looked like I photoshoped her head to make it look huge.

It makes me laugh every time I see it.

I also love her little Brantley I could have kept him.

He made me laugh all night long.

He also gives the sweetest hugs.

Here are our kids together minus my 2 oldest.

It was so fun to see our kids inter act together.

Of course I had to get the hubby's in the pick.

I am so grateful for Beth's hubby they drove quite a bit out of their way to see us.

He new Beth and I need to be together again.

I am so glad we moved now Beth and I are only 6 hours away.

Hopefully Job willing I will be able to see her for her Birthday in 3months.

Anyone else want to come see me?

My baby's seven!

July 30th Beeny turned 7 {Sniff sniff}

Benny the birthday boy wanted pancakes and pop tarts for breakfast so that's what I made him.

We then spent the morning talking about the day he was born.

We then had lunch Penutbutter and honey sandwiches and Cheetos.

After lunch Benny could not stand it any more so we let him open his presents.

Thanks to Target and hobby lobby's great clearances and sales Benny was spoiled rotten.

Then we waited for My best girlfriend for the 7th grade and her family to come.

We then had dinner and cupcakes.

After cupcakes we went over to the hotel My friend and her family was staying at and went swimming.

Benny was one tuckered out boy by the end of the day.

I love this little boy and I am so happy he is in our lives.

Happy birthday Benny boy!
