Today when I was listing to the radio at 6am The DJ said WE have lots and lots of vitamin D in the forecast this week. I was so excited!! I was ready to jump for joy!
Just in case you are wondering Vitamin D is code word For The SUN!!! A lot of Alaskans lack Vitamin D in the winter and because of the lack of Vitamin D it makes us sluggish and grumpy.
Now we are gaining sunlight and it it is fabulous!!!
Yesterday The boys were reading a comic book and lying on the floor so that the sun was warming there skin.
(They actually looked like cats basking in the sunlight) It was kinda funny because at one point the were auguring about each other stilling too much sunlight.

That means my sewing pix will look so much better.
I also love all the new spring colors that are hitting the store they are just so cherie and bright!
I made this apron out of dish towels that I found at Target! I just love the bright fun colors in it!
Well I am off to do more sewing!

We're getting up to 6 inches of snow this week...blah...
glad you get the sun this week, We are letting you borrow it while we have tons of rain, then we want it back. :) I love the apron. My mom made me a really cute purse out of some dish towels.

The apron is adorable. We had a sunny day here but no snow (South Alabama - we NEVER get snow).

Love the apron...love the sun...now just to get some HEAT to go with it! I'm just sooooooooo sick of the cold...and we don't get the snow(in DC)just the wind and cold and mud (well..frozen mud)
At least the apron has me happily thinking SPRING!!!!!

My brother lived in Anchorage for 8 years and said the only part he didn't like was the 'no sun for 6 months...'
