Lessons in savings..

I told the kids they could have ice cream cones of course they all wanted to go to DQ.
I said well if we go to DQ then we wont get to go the next week it will take all our ice cream budget to go today.
Garret said well we all just want the arctic rush it's only 3 bucks x4 wich is 12 bucks.
I said well if we go to MCdonalds and get ice cream cones it should only be 4 dollars.
Garrett thought about it and said OK then that means we can go back to McDonald's next week  2 times I said yep.
When we got up to the drive true there was a sing  saying  Alaska nifty 50cents ice cream cones.
I guess because it's Alaska's 50th year of state hood we get 50 cent cones all year.
Garret looked at me and said that will only cost 2 dollars that means we can have 6 trips to McDonalds for the same cost of our Dairy Queen trip..
Now thats a sweet deal..
