Starve a fever feed a cold?
So What do you do when you have both? I have a super high fever and a terrible cold that is seeping in to my chest as fast as it can.I am achy and just feel horrible.I really don't feel like eating a thing but I know I have to.So I went and bought some tuscan tomato bisque and a baguette..I hope it doesnt make me puke because once I puke a food I rarley eat it again .. So do you all have any home remedies to make me feel better please tell, I will try any thing at this point.

Loooots of water. Keep it simple for the next day or too. Get some toast in you... that will suck up all the yucky's inside.

Sorry you feel so bad. I wish I could make it all go away. Or make you comfortable. You usually don't get sick, maybe it's cause I'm not there. Hope you get better soon.
Go to the Doctor!! With a fever that high, you want to make sure that it isn't a secondary infection.
Call him (or her) today!
Feel better soon. Get some rest, have brothy type soups (chicken noodle, etc) not creamy soups. Have some soda crackers, or toast. orange juice is good for the cold, but apple juice will be better for the stomach or sometimes what I do is mix orange juice with 7 up and it's better on the stomach than straight orange juice and get lots of rest. (easier said than done, I know)
I'll ditto see the doctor. Better safe than sorry and they might be able to give you something to speed up the healing - a big plus. Sorry you feel so miserable. :( Sending prayers of comfort and speedy healing.
I'd say doc too since you're the only parent at home! And SLEEP!!
Cut up some lemons, cover them with water in your sauce pot, and squirt in some honey. It makes a great tea, will help your throat and open your airways.

You poor thing. Orange juice and light soups and smoothies. Try ice cream too. :)
I agree with Lola...that fever is WAY to high for an adult....go to the doctor.
However, when I have a flu or cold my favorite is to simply s.l.e.e.p. That about does it for me. I also totally believe in the chicken soup...it really works.

My solution is 1) homemade chicken noodle soup and 2) the must-have Hot spicy chinese soup and eggs rolls with hot mustard. You'll feel great the next day! And of course, saying, "Thank you God for making me healthy and whole." That's probably the real cure!
