rubb a dubb dubb an apron for the tub

When I was invited to my friends baby shower , I wanted to make her something unique.
I could not get the idea of giving her an apron for a baby gift out of my head.
So I came up with an apron useful for baby.
So I made an apron out of a bath towel.
Yep you heard me right an apron out of a bath towel.
The idea is to make bath time easier for the mama.
When wearing the towel apron it will free your hands and keep you dry.
When baby is finished with the bath you simply
lift baby out of the tub and put her up to your chest and then
take the bottom of the apron up and dry of baby..
I really do love how this turned out.
It was quick and simple and will be oh so fun to give to my friend.
Now to finish the rest of her gift..

cute idea!

I am so bad. 2 of my friends had babies last month, both girls. I started making a gift for one of them, but I just can't seem to finish. I wish I had your talent! Any simple ideas for this non-sewer? (email me please?) I think I took on too much and I really want to get their gifts to them.

ummm... yeah, you should totally market those! Love the idea. Why not, they have everything else for babies. I was always trying to cover with a towel, especially on Sundays when you get up and get dressed first for church or something.
Nice job!
