Fathers and Daughters

There's just something about Daughters and Fathers that are so special.
I have been blessed to watch the relationship between my husband and our 4 daughters.
I remember the first time Dale met each of his daughters he smiled his fabulous smile and held each tiny girl with such love and tenderness.
One of the most tenderest moments I have ever seen was the night Dale came home from war the first time.
I got him from the airport in middle of the night with out my kids knowing.
When we got to our room to go to bed Madeline was in our bed sound asleep (she was 4 at the time) He scooped her up to take her to her bed. She opened her eyes and saw that it was her daddy that was holding her. She grabbed on to his neck and said my daddy your home.
That memory will forever be burned in my mind.

Another memory is Kadies wedding day.
I don't think I have ever seen a more proud Father than Dale on Kadies wedding day.
I think he smiles all day long.
He kept saying Jen this is such a great day!
My heart melted when I watched them dace at her wedding.
I cant even begin to put into words how amazing it was to watch them dace.
In my mind I kept seeing her dancing with him when she was three.
I am so grateful that I chose an amazing Father for my Children especially for my girls.
If they all marry men with qualities of their dad they will be Lucky girls.
I cant write this post with out saying how much I love my own father he is an amazing man and I am so lucky that he raised me.

The Father/Daughter wedding dance is great. We also started a Mother/Son dance. Around here they didn't do that but my daughter and her husband want to and now I'm seeing it more.
