Here is a better pic of the color.
Now onto other news.. Dale was to leave tomorrow but because of a mix up with shots he will have to stay in country for maybe 2 more weeks. Thats kinda good news and bad news all at the same time. The good news is he gets to be here for Shelly's Birthday and the bad new is that he wont get back until the kids are back in school. That means he misses their whole summer break. What a bummer for the kids and Dale. It also means I might move my EYSY opening until April 15Th now. I just don't want to be distracted with business while he is still here.
Tootles and I hope everyone is having a grand day in their neck of the woods.

The counter looks great.
I'm sorry that Dale will miss the summer but I'm glad you got an extra couple weeks with him before he leaves. I can understand the anxiety though.. the sooner he goes the sooner he comes back, but then you don't want him to leave just yet either!
Well, enjoy your time together and make the most of it! :)
The counters look great! Sorry for the mix up, but glad you all have Dale there for another couple of weeks. :)
Love the new counter top!
They look awesome, they are really close to what I want. We both have good taste. :)
It is a mixed bag for sure when deployments get delayed. You are happy to have them around a little longer but it just delays the inevitable and now you've lost what little summer you had.
Dan left the country today, so now I don't even get my nightly phone call.:(
the new kitchen's looking good!!
too bad about the change in plans. but at least you get to see him for another couple weeks. try to look at the bright side. :)
Love the counter tops. I really like the edges! :)
I'm glad you get to have Dale for two more weeks, but bummed he'll miss the summer break.
Holy heck! When is Shelly's birthday again? I'll get a card in the mail to her.
What a beautiful kitchen! I would love to "own" a house - maybe one day. Let me know if you need anything before OR after Dale leaves - I still need a shopping tour down here in Anchorage :)
The countertops look so great!! Very nice. What color are you going to paint?
Hope Dale has an uneventful deployment.
Great counters! And great that you get 2 more weeks together!
I love the counters. Glad you get Dale around for a couple more weeks, but sorry about your summer. And Jen I want to thank you for your comment on my blog. The tears started to fall all over again. I know you know!
