My Feet need some help!

I hate wearing socks, they make my feet way to hot so I never wear them plus some how they just don't look good in Stilettos.
Well my feet are paying the price for going sock less. They are callused and cracked and just plane ugly looking.
Today when I could hardly walk let alone put a shoe on because of the 2 cracks I have on my right foot. I scrummed to the socks. I put some medicine on the cracks and a thick body butter on the rest off my feet.
They are now happy and sighing with relief. I guess I should wear socks more often. I think my pedicurist would thank me too. She is a sweet oriental lady and just shakes her head when she sees my feet.
I have also thought about buying this silly looking egg.I wonder if it will work? It looks kinda scary, but I am almost willing to give it a try, if it will really take care of my thick calluses. Maybe the Easter bunny will give bring it to me.
So has any one used the pedi egg? I am dying to know what you think!

I've never used them before, but if you do, you'll have to post a review...

I totally hate socks and hardly ever buy shoes that require wearing socks.

OK I am hoping someone has a great solution because I am with you. I have a callous on the heal of one of my feet and it will not go away. I have tried something similar to the pedi-egg, creams and nothing seems to work. It's ugly.

I feel your pain!

Ok.. I have an answer!!
I have TERRIBLE crack problems in my heels. I did everything.. Socks, creams, and nothing seemed to work. I have lovely painted toes and cracked sicko heels. Sometimes they bleed and I can't walk. ( it's worse in the summer.. ) So.. I started shaving them or using the pedi egg. It helped, but then the cracks would start again. I went to the dermatoligist, and he told me my feet needed more moisture.( sorry I know that is a gross word.. ) He said to soak them (even if I don't do a bath ) while I watch a show or read a book every night for 15-20 minutes.. It worked!!!
I lotion them before bed.. but I have to say that when I keep up with it.. They stay nice and smooth. I still shave off the skin every once in a while.. but they are 90% better! Whoo-hoo!
I hate feet. ~ And foot problems.

I had the pedi egg...don't know where went since we moved, but it does work! I inherited my mom's ugly calloused heels. I think the trick is to constantly moisturize.

Our baby sister got me one for Christmas. It works pretty well, but my feet are very bad so I have to moisturize constantly and I also have a ceramic foot file I use in the shower. The combination of the three seems to help, but I can't relax for even a few days or my cracks come back.

I have the ped egg. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! You have to buy the replacements, as the filing part wears out. I use it before I get in the shower. I also use one of those beauty exfoliating bars (they sell them at Sally here), you know the pink ones that desolve as you use them. I don't know what they are really called. I use that in the shower. Then I lotion like a mad woman at night and sometimes wear socks to bed. Hope that helps!!!

It must run in the family, mine are bad too. The one cream that works real good for me is Eucerin. I want to try that egg too.

A friend got the pedi egg, says it works but to be careful or it will shave off too much and hurt........

I do the simple scrub my feet in the shower when needed, then slather with a thick lotion and put on socks right before slipping into bed. I don't have problems with the crusties.....so it must be working. (BTW, my hubby calls cracked feet FRENCH BREAD FEET....HA!)

Buy the ped egg. I love it. But don't go without buying Flexitol Heel Balm. Actually, I am putting together a basket of goodies today for my Blogiversary Giveaway, and the Heel Balm is going in because it is just SO GREAT! Call you local pharmacies and walmart and see if they have it. It works wonders!

I just bought one and i do like it. I goth the one with the handle so it is easier to reach. I have only tested it for a minte or two, so we'll see ho wit works when I find time for a full pedicure! You know what else I use> A disposable razor. It works so well! Still, I think you have to sluff your feet at least once a week to keep them soft.

My husband has one and it works. His heels get dry and I didn't want him snagging our comforter on our bed when he was just laying there so he got one. He thinks it is the greatest thing.

I debated and debated buying one of those eggs.. but I finally did and it's the MOST amazing thing ever!!!

My pedicurist even asked me if I had been going to someone else!! hahaha.. It's really good. Trust me.

Just a tip: Use it on dry feet. It works better. This thing puts the pumice stone to shame.

Hey there
My first time to visit! Have you tried Bag Balm? IT is for cow's teets! LOL! I put it on every night before I got to bed and then put my socks on cause I just can not sleep without socks. If you can't sleep with socks you could do it any time of day just make sure you wear the socks after you put it on. I used to have a really really bad callus with a bad bad crack and after doing this for about a month my callus is almost gone and my feet are as soft as a baby's butt!
Good Luck
