Aprons, Deployments, a new store opening date oh my!

I had a full day today.! First I ran to the fabric store and Target, then I wiped up 2 apron ran to the post office and quickly picked up the house , ordered dinner, ran Shelly and Mylissa to the high school , listened to freshman orientation info and now I home writing in my blog and hopefully getting caught up on yours.

I love the fabric on this apron the design and every thing about it. It was such a fun apron to whip up. it is for a mushroom themed swap that I am in on swap bot. I am glad I bought extra fabric . I think I will make a fun bag out of it.
This apron is much prettier in person. I also love the shape of this apron too bad my little non curvy body dose not it justice. It is always hard for me to make aprons that aren't my size look good while modeling them. This as also made for a swap on swap bot.

We got the news today that I will yet again have to send my hubby off to war..
I know it was a possibility when he joined the Military 19 years and I am not complaining but I would be lying I said that I did not hate the idea. I hate the fact that he will have to carry a gun at all times for safety when he went the last time he did not have to. Needless to say I am just a little nervous. He will be leaving very soon and miss all our birthdays this year but Garrett's. We are lucky That He will get to Baptize Madeline saturday.
Since Dale is leaving so soon I feel it is very important to spend the time we have left before he leaves so I am choosing to wait until April 1st to open my store. It makes me sad to do this but family is my 1st priority. I will still have a give away on Tuesday the 10th of March so make sure you come back for that.
Well I better get off and get these monkeys to Bed and love on my hunny.

oh no, I'm sorry to hear you will have to send Dale off again. For some reason I thought he was retired from the military. I sincerely hope that everything will be for the best and that he will come home safe and sound.

Of course we understand that your family is first priority as they should be. Spend as much time together as possible, and enjoy all of your moments together. Don't you worry about us here in bloggieville. We will miss you but we will be glad you are taking time to be with your family. ((hugs))

Oh, that makes me feel sad. You have one awesome husband though. I think it's a good idea to spend all of the tiem you can together. And tht gives you a little more time to get things ready! I don't know what you're talking about. Shapeless body? You make those aprons look hot!

I'm sorry that your husband is having to leave for war, again.
I want to take this opportunity to thank him for his service to our country and to know that if no one else will stand and say thank you, I will.
I thank you and your children as well for the sacrifice that you make as he goes.
Please know that he is in our prayers as are you.

Maybe he'll end up at the same base as Dan and they can finally meet!

(((((hugs))))) It sucks that he's being deployed. Making the next few weeks all about family makes sense to me. I can't see myself doing any different if I were in your position.

Sounds like you had a really busy Thursday. Hope you get some time to relax over the weekend.

I LOVE the mushroom apron. Super cute.

Oh no. Sorry Dale has to leave again. He'll be in our prayers.

So I know this is trivial, but does this mean you won't be able to make it to Utah for our Travis Girls Reunion?

By the way, love the aprons, especially the pretty lace one.

I hope that Dale travels and stays safe. Wish we could be there with you like the last long one. I am glad that he will be there for the baptism. That is all I wanted for Tom this year, he isn't going anywhere soon though, suprisingly. Of course as you know that can change at the drop of a hat. :)

I am such a dolt! I put an apron picture in my blog yesterday. I should have totally linked up to your aprons!!! I'm sorry! It's a weird week around here! Frazzled would be a mild understatement to my mood!

I promise I'll work in some linky love one of these days!!!

i am new to your blog..to be truthful I don't remember how I stumbled across it however I am glad that I did! I am not an American, we live in Australia, but I am mindful of how hard it must be having your husband away. I hate it when mine has to go away for a couple of days..and there isn't any danger involved! I think you must be a very brave person.even though I don't know you I am looking forward to reading your blog..does that sound weird or stalkerish? Promise I am not.. Mary-Anne

I'm sorry your husband will be deployed again. Mine went June 2006 for 15 months and they are looking at July 2011 again. Of course that could change as it has so many times. My son will have been off of his mission about 4 months then (he just left on his Mission to Missouri) and will be headed out, too. Thank your husband for us. And good luck to you and you family.
