Robin by the looks of these animal prints I would have to say Moose .. Yep I am sure these are Moose prints we have here.
Sunday morning we here Garret say you all better come in here I need to show you all something. We went in to the living room and looked out the window to see what he was looking at and there they were Moose prints all over the yard.
We have had moose in the yard before put always on the edge of the yard close to the forest.
But never this close they were in the Garden Shelly had planted. Well the Garden is right next to the family room window. You can even see there nose prints on the window. Kinda creepy to think they were just looking in to see whats going on . The then How I don't know went under our front porch and past the garage moved the Trash cans and then went around back. As they were walking around in the back yard the knocked the dryer vent off the back of the house. I guess just some of the perks of living in Alaska you have to share your life with the wild life.

That is kind of creepy, but really neat too! I guess it's something to get used too. =)
Moose, wow, that is just cool. They were spying on you too. Very weird. lol
wow that is just amazing yet interesting that they come so close.
not creepy to me. Too COOL! I'd think bugs were creepy...especially spiders. But I wouldn't want a polar bear sneaking around.........or cougar, those types....that eat you....or your kids.....or the dog or cat.
Cool. At least it is a moose and not a bear. We were at Yellowstone once and when we woke up in the morning there were bear tracks all around our campsite. Good thing we were in a camper.
Will you be having moose for dinner tonight? You might want to let your "outside" readers know moose meat is eaten more up here than ground beef is. Then again, you're not fond of moose meat, right? I'll make a mental note of that. You know, just in case.
Heheh your post cracks me up ! Moose yikes.... we have racoons that are brave neough to scratch at our sunroom door to be let in :' (
Hugs, Norma
Yikes - that is pretty close! I'm kind of surprised that they've never come that close before though.
I remember my first time in Alaska and there were moose right next to the bathrooms at the campground and I was all excited. There were a bunch of fisherman cleaning their fish and I said something to them like, "Look! There's moose right there!" They looked at me like I was telling them there was a tree in forest...like "Yeah, so what!" lol.
well, that would be kinda neat!! Although, it might scare the bejeezes out of me if I looked out the window and saw a moose looking back at me. lol
(I love your house)
Yikes! What big footprints! But also fun :)
OMGoodness! I think I'd scream if I saw a moose peeking in at me. LOL Our largest visitors have been deer.
Cool! What did Shelly have planted in that garden anyway? ;} haha
