Rain Rain go away Little Jenny wants to play..

My daddy use to sing me that little song when I was a little girl when it rained all the time.

What a depressing day it has been raining since I don't know when probably weeks. I have been doing pretty good in spite of all the rain. Yet today I was sadden when a Gentleman said those are quite the Alaskan shoes you have on. I looked down too see witch ones I was wearing. My cute leopard print ones Dale bought me for Christmas. I then almost cried at his next words. With your toes exposed they are going to freeze come winter and it's coming quick we got a light dusting on the mountains last night. Noooo I wanted to scream not Termination dust. Here in Alaska they call the light snow on the mountains during the summer time Termination dust meaning Summer is over. I wanted to cry... I was barley keeping it together when the firer weed started blooming a couple of weeks ago. Firer weed is a flower that grows here and the myth is when the tops of the fire weed blooms Summer is over. since I have been here it's been true the moment those suckers are done blooming summer is all over. I am so bummed...

Ok so to make my self happy I did a little scrapping. I made these 2 LO today and I will probably make a few more and maybe even finish up the blasted purse I am working on.

This one is of my cute boys Ben always cracks me up!!I love this pic of Madie it's just so sweet... I also love this PP by Basic Grey its just fun..

I'm sorry it is coming to and end. My brother lived in Alaska 7 years and LOVED every minute of it...but he really loves cold weather. I don't know if I could handle it ofr long. I will say thought that the mountains are breath takingly beautiful.

Jen. I just have to tell you that anytime you post an Alaska picture, well... I steel it. I love the views of Alaska that you share with us. Your LO's are cute too. Love you.

What a short summer. I would be sad too. I am happy here that it is windy and cooling down a bit.

Some news to cheer you: I heard this morning on the radio that this summer is the coldest on Alaska's record. We've only had 7 days make it to 65 degrees. Ok, so that doesn't sound too cheery. I guess it can't get any worse. Wait, yes it can. Winter's on the way. Just forget about me being the good news messenger. I totally stink at it.

Oh, no! Summer over already? I'd have a hard time with that. I'm used to sweltering until Christmas.

Beautiful layouts! I love the paper tearing & lace. Sweet photos. tfs! :)

Oh, sweet Jennifer! I am so sad that summer hasn't been amazing for you.
Your layouts are beautiful. I love the green polkadots peeking through the boys layout, as well as the sewing, and also the black lace on M's layout is beautiful!

It's hard for me to believe summer could be coming to an end anywhere right now, it's so HOT here. I'm hot and crabby, tired of not being able to do outside things without getting sick :( This is my "cabin fever" time here in Oklahoma - 100+ degrees just doesn't agree with me.
