Explanation

I have had a lot of friends family and readers ask why Edward Cullen was at the wedding.

If you have watched eclipse you will know Dan and kadies wedding date is the same as Bella and Edwards.Although we are Twilight fans we aren't crazy.

Edward was filling in for David Dan's brother who is in LA severing a mission for our church.

She's Married

My girl is a Married woman..

I am happy sad and tiered the reception was a blast and every thing turned out fine in the end. I will Post a ton of pic later ( I only took 2,000) Who knows how many the photographer took.

For now i am going to rest..

PS if the rest of my kids except Maddy eloped I would be a happy women.

Buzz light Year or Woody?

When Garret was little Buzz was his hero.

He wore a Buzz light year costume from the time he woke up until he went to bed.

He watched toy story every day some times twice a day from the time he was 2 until he was 6.

Last year we introduced Ben to the toy story movies.

He loved them he watched them every day just like Garrett.

When toy story 3 came out he begged every day until we took him to go.

The other day we were in Walmart and I saw a buzz light year shirt all it had was the the body on it wit no head at the neck.

So I picked one up to buy I held it up to Ben to make sure it would fit for when we go to Disneyland.

I was a little surprised when Ben said he wanted the Woody shirt instead.

I said to Ben " I did not realized you like Woody better."

He replied with the most thought out response I have ever heard a 6 year old say.

He said "well mom I really like woody because he takes care of every one and make sures they are ok. He is like the Dad of every one. He is wise and gives good instructions."

I really was shocked at how well he understood Woody's role.

My question of the day is Do you like Buzz or do you like Woody?

The Air Show!!

Last weekeend  we went to the air show on the base.

We love going to the air show.

There is always so much to see

and so much to do.

We love watching the bomb drops.

The smoke always looks so cool.

2 years a go they had a falcon and this year they had an eagle.

I like looking at all the planes

Robbie likes to hold them up.

Mylissa one day wants to fly them.

It was a wonderful day and our last air show in Alaska the next one will have to be in Colorado or Wyoming..

But Dan thought she would regret it if she didn't.

I love that its a close up. It captures Ben's smiling eye and the tenderness gentleness of my lips of his cheek.

I love Ben so much he has brought so much joy and laughter in our home.

He was a balm to my broken heart after William died.

He always makes me laugh when I am sad and bring me out of anger like nobody else can. I have the hardest time disciplining him because his sad face makes me want to cuddle him and make him feel better.

I am so glad this little boy chose me to be his momma.

Kadies bridal Shower

Last week we My friends hosted a bridal shower for Kadie.

There was a lot of fun foods , games and prizes and best of all good friends.

Kadie also got some good advise and fun presents.

I really cant believe that in 12 days my daughter is getting married..

I am so excited ,worried and over whelmed.

these next 12 days will be a lot of work and a lot of fun!!

Madelines Nutty avocado mask.

Madeline decided that she loves putting on beauty masks

She looks forward to every saturday morning when I let her put the ooey gooey green avocado mask on her face.

I swear even with this green goo on her face she looks beautiful.

Here is the recipe for the Nutty avocado honey mask

Madeline uses.

For preparing Nutty avocado honey mask, you need to mash and mix 1 ripe avocado with ½ teaspoon honey. You can add 1 teaspoon almonds to mixture and then continue to mash to make it creamy. Then you can apply the mixture to your clean face. After relaxing for 15-20 minutes{or ride your bike around the neighborhood like Madeline} you then massage gently to exfoliate before rinsing with warm water.

Oh and it taste good too.
